ABC/Lorenzo BevilaquaIf you were looking to get some face time with Diddy or any of the celebrity Making The Band judges, you may have to wait until the actual show.

In a message in his Instagram Story on Thursday, Diddy announced he has canceled the two final in-person auditions for Making the Band, which were set to take place March 13 and 14 in Charlotte, NC, and March 21 and 22 in New York City.

“We want to make sure everyone is safe during these times, so we had to make the decision to cancel the in person casting events,” he wrote in the message.

However, Diddy did offer disappointed fans another, less direct, option.

“But at the same time, I want to provide opportunity to everyone to audition from their homes,” Diddy said. “So I’ve put together a team of A&Rs that will be checking #MTBcasting on all social platforms 24/7 to find gems. Everyone be safe! Love.”

As previously reported, DaBaby was expected to judge auditions this weekend in his hometown of Charlotte, NC, while Diddy was set to make an appearance at the New York City auditions in the MTV Studios.

Making the Band is still expected to return to MTV later this year.
