ABC/Lorenzo BevilaquaThis weekend hosted two of the biggest celebrity birthday parties of the year: Taylor Swift‘s 30th and Diddy‘s 50th. However, only one rolled out an enviable FOMO-inducing attendance list.
Attending Diddy’s 50th was Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Machine Gun Kelly, Cardi B, and many others. The black tie event was documented via a series of glamour shots the mogul posted to his Instagram on Sunday.
“Last night was one of those nights I’ll never forget,” gushes the three-time Grammy Award winner. He then turns his attention to the person who was behind the camera, photographer Carlos Araujo — otherwise known as Kaito.
“All I can say is wow!! I’ve watched you grow from just a photographer to someone who captures beautiful art,” praises Diddy, “Looking at these images makes me so proud. Thank you King!”
Kaito collaborated with Variety on the cover-page worthy photos of Diddy’s guests.
The photo series features a fraction of his party guests dressed up to the nines: Jay-Z, Kanye and Kim, Mary J Blige, Cardi B and husband Offset, Usher, Lizzo, Chadwick Boseman, Khloe Kardashian with Kylie Jenner, Snoop Dogg, and Jaden Smith.
The night also featured a full bar and a stage where several guests performed in the rapper’s honor, as seen in several behind-the-scenes Instagram Stories.
While Diddy’s birthday is technically November 4, he proved it’s never too late to pour the Ciroc Vodka and celebrate in style.
