In a series of posts on his Instagram story Tuesday, he revealed the news while urging people to take the global pandemic seriously, hinting at COVID-19 symptoms.

“I’m recovering from pneumonia in both my lungs…I lost my sense of smell and taste which is a main sign of the virus,” Jeff wrote. “I would not be here if not for my guardian angel for a wife!

In early March, Jeff mentioned he had an illness, tweeting, “I’ll be happy when I’m home and I can cough freely…LOL.” While he has yet to confirm his COVID-19 diagnosis, Jeff did urge his followers to take the virus seriously, saying they should continue to practice social distancing and stay indoors.

“Please take this serious…it does not care who you are..what you do or what your plans are. Stay Safe,” he wrote.

Idris Elba, Kevin Durant, Scarface and Slim Thug recently revealed they were recovering from COVID-19. Rapper Styles P is convinced he “had the rona” three months ago before there was a heightened concern. “I almost died in January. And I never get the flu and if I do it’s a day or two,” he tweeted. “In January I was down for a week and lost about 8 pounds!! I had the rona!! It had to be the Rona!!!!
