Due to overwhelming demand, Diana Ross’ 75th birthday celebration show, Diamond Diana, has been extended. The iconic star’s Las Vegas residency will return to the Wynn resort’s Encore Theater in June for six additional performances.

The new performances run from June 5 through the 15 and will feature Ross donning new costumes as she sings her many solo and Supremes classics.  The original run of shows ended February 23. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com, WynnLasVegas.com, and via phone by calling 702-770-9966.

As previously reported, Ross will officially celebrate her 75th birthday on March 26 with the recently announced screening of the film event Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy at select theaters.

The movie features footage from the historic concert film Diana Ross: Live in Central Park, enhanced with new tribute messages from Diana’s children.

Live in Central Park documents the famous free concert Diana gave in New York City over the course of two days in July 1983. More than 800,000 fans turned up for her July 21 show, but a torrential downpour put a damper on the event.

Ross promised from the stage that she would return to Central Park’s Great Lawn and perform a full concert the next day, which she did, delivering an inspired, career-spanning set.

Additional screenings of Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy also will be held in theaters on March 28, 2019. Visit FathomEvents.com for more details.
