Drake Planning to Issue Five Unreleased Songs Before 2014

by

Young Money EntertainmentDrake intends to treat his fans to new music before the year is over. During an interview with VIBE, the rapper revealed he will unleash five previously unreleased song, which will be issued in a bundle via his official blog, OctobersVeryOwn.com.

When asked how he intends to roll out the new tracks, Drizzy said everything will drop all at once. “Not an EP, but maybe a blog thing like how I did ‘Versace,’ ‘The Motion,’ all those in one night,” he says.

Fans can expect the Hit-Boy-produced “Trophies,” which Drake previewed during  his Would You Like A Tour? back in October, as well as a few other surprises.

The rapper adds, “I’ll probably do ‘Trophies’ and three or four other records. [‘Wu-Tang Forever (Remix)’] will probably come out with all that stuff — I hope.” He concludes that what makes the cut is up to his producer Noah “40” Shebib. “He has all the verses,” Drake explains.

While Drake promises to issue the songs before the end of the year, he remained mum on the exact date the new material will be available.
