Frazer Harrison/Getty ImagesOver the weekend, rapper Drake was spotted in the trenches of Brooklyn, outside of Marcy housing projects filming a new music video. In a video clip, the rapper appears to be quite nervous rapping in front of one of the most notorious housing projects, which birthed hip-hop legends Notorius B.I.G., Jay-Z, and Mos Def.
Drake looks over his shoulder not once, but four times, although no one knows what he was actually looking at. But social media users had a field day in the comments pointing out the Canadian rapper’s awkwardness, saying “he looks scared and uncomfortable.”
People outside of Marcy showed Druke love in another video clip, where he was giving dap. “That other clip under covers pulled up quick with the iphones out on my life,” Drake wrote in a comment.”I was tryna see what was going on…it was all Marcy Love.”
At the moment its unclear what song the music video is actually for, but according to Rap Radar’s B.Dot Miller, “it’s incredible, it sounds like one of those time stamp joints.”
