Today, dvsn releases their new album, A Muse in Her Feelings, a fitting entry for their contemporary music blending 90’s nostalgic R&B and rap. It features guest appearances from Jessie Reyez, Summer Walker and Future, and sampled tracks like “A Muse,” taking inspiration from Jay-Z’s “Dead Presidents.”
The R&B duo, comprised of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85, announced the album last month, sharing their new single, “Between Us,” featuring Snoh Aalegra, which samples Usher’s “My Way.”
A Muse in Her Feelings also features last month’s reggae cut “Dangerous City” with Ty Dolla $ign and dancehall legend Buju Banton.
Speaking of Summer Walker, the newly single singer assisted 21 Savage for his new single, “Secret,” which samples Xscape’s hit “My Little Secret.” Walker recently split from her longtime boyfriend and music producer London On Da Track.
Meanwhile, R&B veteran The-Dream is ready to ignite the first generation of pandemic babies with his new album, Sextape 4, including fan-favorite “Wee Hours,” with Jhené Aiko.
The Grammy-winning singer kept viewers on Instagram Live entertained by battling against fellow songwriter Sean Garett a few weeks back, playing tracks penned for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and more classics. Sextape 4 follows 2018’s Ménage à Trois: Sextape Vol. 1, 2, 3.
