Erica HernandezR&B duo dvsn taps Ty Dolla $ign and reggae legend Buju Banton for a sexy-island collaboration, “Dangerous City.”
The single delivers dvsn’s signature R&B sound paired with reggae vibes, a catchy hook, and lyrics about romance and love over an island-like beat produced by Nineteen85 of dvsn.
The group’s singer Daniel Daley opens the track singing, “Baby, it’s safer here with me because they know me/The only crime you’ll ever face is feelin’ lonely.”
Ty Dolla $ign lets his trademark harmony and raspy vocals loose during his verse, while Banton adds some island flavor to the track.
“Dangerous City” comes from dvsn’s upcoming album, A Muse In Her Feelings, expected to arrive next week, with 16 new tracks and guest appearances from Popcaan, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker, and more.
dvsn’s A Muse In Her Feelings arrives April 17 and is now available for pre-order, including advanced singles such as “Between Us,” featuring Snoh Aalegra, and “A Muse,” released at the top of the year.
