Interscope RecordsElla Mai‘s new music video for her track “Naked” is more about baring one’s soul and embracing one’s flaws, than being physically nude.
The visual shows the British singer-songwriter in a bathtub for a brief moment before switching to a montage of people from different ethnic backgrounds and ages.
Body positivity is also a theme of the video, as several individuals with different body types are seen posing in their underwear.
Towards the end of the video, a group is shown fully clothed, with some holding up signs showing familiar social media hashtags, including #DefendDACA, #PrayForPuertoRico, #BlackLivesMatter, #TimesUp, #MeToo and #JusticeForGrenfell.
Ella Mai has already worked with big names like Chris Brown and Ty Dolla Sign and hit the road last year with Kehlani for the “CRZY” singer’s Sweet Sexy Savage international tour.
She’s currently gearing up to release her debut album.
