Photo by Mireya Acierto/Getty ImagesErykah Badu and Azealia Banks are now on good terms. Thanks to a suggestion from one of Banks’ Twitter followers, the pair have squash Twitter beef that last year when Badu wrote that that she “tried” to listen to Banks’ music.
“@AZEALIABANKS sis. 1 thing I know 4sho about YOU is that you r an advocate 4 your folks. For that I humbly apologize,” Badu wrote in a tweet yesterday, April 12.
Banks responded by tweeting: “@fatbellybella and i apologize for all the stupid things I said in response. I honestly look up to you and think your [sic] incredible,” Banks wrote.
This isn’t the first time Badu has ended a Twitter beef — she previously apologized to Iggy Azalea after publicly dissing her at the 2015 Soul Train Awards, where Badu declared Iggy’s music is “definitely not rap.”
