Paolo ReversiRihanna‘s new venture with Manolo Blahnik, Denim Desserts, officially hit stores in London, New York and Hong Kong today and the singer has literally put her foot into helping to create these designs.
The collection offers six limited-edition styles, which were designed by the duo, and features sequins and embroidery influenced by the Barbados songstress’ hand tattoos.
Rihanna went on Instagram to promote the new line say, “#RIHANNAXMANOLO is in stores tomorrow! Thrilled to work with@manoloblahnikhq and make these designs come to life!!
When asked about her experience working with Manolo, Rih-Rih lauded the fashion designer saying, “He is such an incredible human being. He’s so fun to work with, and I was blessed with the opportunity to see him create from scratch. He’s so passionate about what he does, and it makes it so worth it when you buy or wear a pair of his shoes because you know what went into it. He’s not copy and paste. He’s not letting anyone do his work. He has a small team as well. He still loves everything about shoes, and it’s so refreshing.”
