The show features performances of many of the group’s classic hits, including “I Love Music,” “Love Train,” “Back Stabbers,” “Use ta Be My Girl” and “For the Love of Money,” as well as four songs from the band’s latest — and, reportedly, final — studio album, The Last Word.

A companion Live in New York album will be released digitally on September 7, while a DVD and a CD of the show will be available during upcoming PBS pledge drives.

In other news, The O’Jays will take part in a special Q&A and performance event on August 29 at the Grammy Museum’s Clive Davis Theater in Los Angeles. The group also will be inducted into the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame at a special ceremony on October 22.
