Beyonce‘s life story will be retold by those who were with her in the beginning in an upcoming biography titled Becoming Beyoncé: The Untold Story, which was penned by prolific author J. Randy Taraborrelli.
In a brand new trailer for the book, LaTavia Roberson, who was in Beyonce’s first group called Girls Tyme before becoming a member of Destiny’s Child, delivers a special message.
“Hi Beyoncé it’s your old friend LaTavia. Do you realize that we were 8 years old when we first started having so many great memories together?” she says. “I know that I have some of my best memories. I love you very much and I wish you and your beautiful family all the happiness in the world!”
Becoming Beyoncé: The Untold Story, which is touted as the “first comprehensive biography ever published of pop icon Beyoncé Knowles,” will arrive on October 27 and can be pre-ordered online.
Taraborrelli previously has written about Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, among others.
