by

McCarten/PictureGroupFrank Ocean has shot down rumors that his 2016 visual project Endless will finally land on streaming services as a track-by-track album.

Tuesday night, the “Thinkin Bout You” singer responded to the widely circulated claims via Instagram.

“Fake news,” he commented under a fan’s post announcing the project’s arrival.

As previously reportedly, per Billboardmultiple sources confirmed that Ocean was planning to make the project available everywhere as early as last week. The project has never been released online in an audio-only format.

Initially, Endless debuted in August 2016 as a 45-minute visual stream showing the “Chanel” crooner doing woodworking in a warehouse. While it was subsequently released on CD and vinyl with a few minor changes, it can only be found online in its original unbroken form via Apple Music.

A day after Ocean shared Endless, he released Blonde, a traditional LP that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
