French Montana and Young Thug trade shots after French claims he has more hits than Kendrick Lamar

by

Zay JonesFrench Montana and Young Thug were going at it Wednesday morning on social media after French claimed he has more hits than Kendrick Lamar.

Young Thug replied, “You don’t got nowhere near more hits.”

French said its not his fault he believes in himself, thinking he can go “hit for hit…neck to neck” against Lamar. He cleared up his comments later saying he had nothing but love for the Grammy-winning artist.

Speaking from an artist standpoint, Young Thug had to check French about his comments, which led to the two trading insults about rap status and money.

“You don’t got nowhere near more hits than Kendrick Lamar whatsoever,” Thugger said. “You probably won’t ever have more hits than buddy. So get that out your head.”

French clowned Thug for wearing a dress in his “No Stylist” video, while Thug threatened to call Meek Mill about a video of French getting “knocked out.” French said he’d pay $1 million to see the video

Ultimately, Thugger said pull up or shut up, posting a video of him outside a house supposedly once owned by French.

Kendrick didn’t speak up for himself — not that he needs to, with 13 Grammy, including Best Rap Album for To Pimp Aa Butterfly and DAMN., the latter of which became the first non-classical, non-jazz album to be awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Music.

Meanwhile, the “That’s a Fact” rapper has only been nominated for a Grammy three times, and not in the last three years.
