Since this April, former Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson teased fans with forthcoming arrival of her first-ever single as a solo artist.
But who would have thought she would release an EDM track?
LaTavia announced her new song on Instagram, writing “Lovers, @bipolarbeatz and I had a kick a** time in the studio, doing something amazing. Upcoming Promo track “Best Time of Your Life” will be released this Friday and available for streaming!!!”
On Twitter, she also clarifies that the tune is “not a single. Just a promo track.”
In an interview with People magazine last year, Roberson told the publication she “never left Destiny’s Child” in 2000, adding, “That is something that people say. But who would leave Destiny’s Child? That’s crazy! I was dismissed from the group.”
Her memoir, I Am LaTavia. My Story. My Destiny., is scheduled for release later this year.
