Get inspired by new music from Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Koryn Hawthorne

by

Motown GospelGrammy-winning gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard has released her much-awaited album, Royalty: Live at the Ryman, described by her label as her “most mature and vulnerable project to date.”

The 17-track album, much of which Leonard co-wrote, was recorded live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee and features six compelling performance videos, including the album’s opener, “You’re Gonna Get the Glory,” and her Kierra Sheard duet, “You Must Break.”

Royalty marks Leonard’s first full-length album of new music since her chart-topping 2017 album, Heart. Passion. Pursuit.

But there’s another rising gospel artist looking to carve her own lane in the gospel industry with a powerful voice that captivates audiences, just like Tasha’s.  Grammy-nominated singer Koryn Hawthorne has shared a video for her powerful new single, “Know You,” from her latest album, I AM. The album version of “Know You” features Christian singer/songwriter Steffany Gretzinger.

Hawthorne is known for her signature sound that balances gospel, R&B, pop and hip-hop music with her vocal artistry. “Know You” follows Koryn’s “How Great” music video, featuring Christian singer/songwriter Matt Maher.

I AM is available today, featuring gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds and Hawthorne’s previous singles, “Speak to Me,” “Pray,” and another track titled “Joy,” which interpolates Mary J. Blige‘s 1995 hit, “You Bring Me Joy.”

Koryn was also recently nominated for a 2020 Billboard Music Award for Top Gospel Artist.
