Giveon to deliver NPR Tiny Desk performance

by

Courtes of GiveonR&B vocalist Giveon is preparing for his first performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert Tuesday.

To keep the momentum going off his October EP, When It’s All Said and Done, the California-bred singer is ready to captivate audiences at home with his unique, low baritone voice.

This exciting news follows the release of Giveon’s acoustic visual for his single “Still Your Best.” The video finds a speechless woman seated on a couch, listening as Giveon sings about a love story gone wrong.

“I don’t want your heart / Maybe once before I don’t want you back / Just wanna let you know / Say my love is bad / So you let me go / But my love is more / Just wanna let you know,” he sings on the chorus.

Giveon closed out 2020 with a Grammy nomination for his debut EP, Take Timealongside R&B albums from John Legend, Luke James, Ant Clemons and Gregory Porter. The eight-track album was led by Giveon’s single, “Like I Want You.”

A month after the EP’s April release, Giveon landed his first Billboard 100 entry, courtesy of his appearance on Drake‘s “Chicago Freestyle.”

Tune into Giveon’s NPR’s Tiny Desk performance Tuesday at 12 p.m. EST on YouTube.
