The “Work” singer met with French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, Wednesday in France in support of the Global Partnership for Education, and world education in general.

Rih tweeted her gratitude to the French president and first lady, writing, “Thank you Mr. President @EmmanuelMacron and Madame First Lady for the incredible meeting and passion for global and girls education!”

The meeting comes after Riri’s tweet to President Macron this June, asking if he would commit to funding education.

Rihanna’s been on a mission to gather support from world leaders in an effort to help finance education around the globe.

She traveled last month to Malawi — considered one of the world’s poorest countries — to advocate for a better education system in the East African country.

Rihanna also created the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012 to support and develop world-class educational programs in her home country of Barbados and elsewhere.

Earlier this year, she accepted Harvard University’s prestigious Humanitarian of the Year award in recognition of her efforts.
