Has Ciara Left Epic Records?

Earlier this week, there was some speculation that Ciara had departed from her recording home, Epic Records. Now, it seems the whispers might be true.

The updated roster page on Epic’s newly designed website does not list Ciara’s name. The refreshed list does include recent signees Puff Daddy and Jennifer Lopez, whose return to the label was announced just last week.

A source previously told ThatGrapeJuce.net that Ci Ci was granted release by Epic head L.A Reid after requesting it.

ABC reached out to her manager and the label for comment, however neither responded at press time.

Meanwhile, Ciara, who is currently on vacation, has already begun working on her seventh LP, the follow-up to last year’s Jackie.
