It’s Coming Baaaack — Drake’s Views Set to Takeover Billboard Chart Once Again

Cash Money Records If you thought it was gone for good, you were wrong — Drake‘s mega-hit album Views is slated to return to the number-one spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the week ending on July 14, Billboardreports

Upon its release, the album landed and stayed at number one for nine weeks straight on the Billboard200 chart. It slipped to the number-two spot the week of July 23, with Blink-182‘s California snaggingthe top spot on the chart.  

Yet, Billboard states that industry forecasters predict Views will head back to the top, earning “around 100,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 14.” 

A recent mid-year report from BuzzAngleMusic declares that Views is the top-selling album of 2016, having sold 1.27 million units. It is currently also the most streamed album of this year, with 1.5 billion plays.
