Singer, songwriter and music collaborator James Fauntleroy is excited about Omarion‘s much-anticipated project, Passport.

Fauntleroy says fans are in for a real treat once they hear the album they’ve been dropping hints about for over a year.

“I’m going to let Omarion talk to you guys about it cause its his project. We did it together,” Fauntelory tells ABC Audio. “We’ve been friends since literally before I started songwriting. So thats one of my homies for real.”

The Grammy-winning artist shared vague details about O’s forthcoming project, but he says “It’s called Passport for a reason.”

“It’s taking you somewhere. I can’t wait. We’re going to see how he wants to give that to you guys but…I love it,” he adds. “I can’t wait to see what happens next, myself.”

Omarion was recently spotted in the studio with fellow singer Summer Walker, likely adding new tracks to Passport or working on the follow-up album to Walker’s Over It.

While we wait for both projects, Fauntleroy has been working on his own music, courtesy of his 2021 tracks “Monin” and “Feel.” Aside from solo music, Fauntleroy appeared on J. Cole‘s track “hunger.on.hillside.” He also sang the chorus and hook on “Sorry Not Sorry” from DJ Khaled‘s album, Khaled Khaled, which features Jay-Z and Nas.

Earlier this month, Fauntleroy sang the campaign song in a video for the first installment of Bruno Mars‘ SelvaRey Coconut Rum liquor brand, which he co-owns.
