The private actress/singer made a rare public appearance last night at Giorgio’s Armani 40th anniversary dinner reception at Nobu in Milan, Italy. It’s the 1st time we’ve seen her since last November at a Vogue gala in Dubai. Wearing black pants, jacket and keeping her hair partially hidden in a hoodie, was Miss Jackson feeling a wee bit camera-shy? She attended the event holding hands with her husband, retail entrepreneur Wissam Al Mana.
Earlier this month, the 48-year-old retweeted a flyer declaring she was missing from the entertainment industry.
It read, “Seriously Janet, where the hell are you?” “We need you back. We miss you. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU. Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it’s done!”
Janet took the joke in stride, saying “LOL. Too funny, too sweet.”
Her last project, Discipline, was released in 2008. There have been rumors of new music but nothing so far. She’s yet to give fans or the industry for the matter any insight into a new CD. A tweet on April 20 was cryptic, reading, “Letting go doesn’t mean you stop.” Click Here To See The Picture
