Janet Jackson‘s comeback single, “No Sleeep,” continues to rise on the charts. This week the record has claims the number five spot on the Mediabase Urban AC chart and has climbed to number 5 on the Billboard Adult R&B chart, less than a month after its debut.

“‘No Sleeep’ has completely taken us by surprise by how quickly it has taken off,” said Jon Cohen, EVP, Recorded Music, BMG US/ Vagrant Records. “What was meant to be a laid-back introduction to the campaign has taken Urban AC by storm, hitting the Top Five within three weeks and has sold 60,000 singles in two weeks. All I can say to all of Janet’s fans is ‘Wait til you hear the rest of the album!'”

“No Sleeep,” will appear on Janet Jackson’s upcoming, yet-untitled album, due out this fall. The set will include contributions from legendary producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
