Jay-Z’s groundbreaking Made in America Festival is returning to Philadelphia this fall. The two-day music festival went on a hiatus last year due to the pandemic but will now return to celebrate its 10th anniversary on Labor Day Weekend.
“We are thrilled to announce Made in America 2021 on the legendary Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This year will be like no other, as Made In America celebrates 10 years of music history-making moments,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “The artists’ performances will be even bigger, and Cause Village will host a wider range of amazing philanthropic organizations. We look forward to sharing incredible memories with our festival attendees and the city of Philadelphia.”
Made in America is produced by Jay’s Roc Nation, and will take place on Saturday, September 4th, and Sunday, September 5th. This year’s performance lineup has yet to be released. Fans can purchase two-day early bird tickets now at Ticketmaster.com.
According to organizers, Made In America 2021 will benefit the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania as its official charity partner. A portion of the net proceeds will also support The REFORM Alliance, a criminal justice reform organization chaired by Jay-Z, Meek Mill, and Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin.
Made in America kicked off in 2012 with performances from Jay-Z, Drake, Mariah Carey and more. Travis Scott and Cardi B headlined the 2019 festival, where Kodak Black, Juice WRLD andAnderson .Paak also hit the stage. Other past Made in America performers includes Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Jill Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and more.
