Image Courtesy Def JamIn case you missed it, Jeremih vented his frustrations with his label Def Jam Records this past weekend.
After releasing his oft-delayed album, Late Nights, earlier this month, Jeremih is accusing the label of under-shipping the project.
“@DeafJamRecords y’all don’t even deserve my voice,” he wrote on Twitter. “It’s not the fact that m[y] album was actually priced 18.99. There’s actually no CD’s in the stores to even buy, that’s the main point.”
The singer claims only “6-7 copies” were shipped to Best Buy stores. “We checked in to the Corporate offices at Best Buy in Chicago and they told us LateNights wasn’t on this [weeks] added shipment list , nor next weeks?? #MyAlbumJustDroppedLastWeek,” he wrote before concluding: “It’s ok though I got some’n for everybody who tried me.”
Late Nights serves as the follow-up to his popular, self-released 2012 mixtape Late Nights with Jeremih.
