Jhene Aiko reunites with her former boyfriend Big Sean in “None Of Your Concern” video

by

Def Jam RecordingsNearly a year after breaking up, former lovers Jhene Aiko and Big Sean are working together: They appear in the video for her new single, “None Of My Concern,” which she released Friday.

Appropriately, the brand new track is about moving on from a past relationship.

She sings, “I was traumatized and suicidal, I’m sick and tired, I am not to blame/ Once I felt the wave and not today, I’m not afraid, now I can say/ Get your b**** a** off of my phone, please leave me alone/ I am not your girl anymore, you need to watch your tone.”

Sean portrays the role he obviously knows well: the ex.  He appears at the end of the clip shot in a tropical beach setting. He raps, “If you find my replacement, how could you…Your two lips should come in a vase…I realize you look as good as you taste.”

The two are obviously still on good terms: Jhene and Sean released a duo album, Twenty88, in 2016, and she’s featured on the track he dropped in July, “Single Again.”

“None Of Your Concern” is the follow-up to Aiko’s previous single, “Triggered (Freestyle)” which is certified gold.
