Jill Scott, Pharrell Winners at NAACP Image Awards

Jerritt Clark/Getty ImagesJill Scott won multiple awards Friday night at the 47th NAACP Image Awards, held Friday night in Pasadena, California.

She was named outstanding female artist during the non-televised portion of the event. She also won outstanding song — traditional for “Back Together,” and outstanding album for Woman.

Pharrell Williams earned the prize for outstanding male artist.

Other winners on the night included NBC’s The Wiz Live! and Queen Latifah, for Bessie.

John Legend was presented the NAACP President’s Award.
