John Legend to Perform at Obama Fundraiser

John Legend is scheduled to perform at a fundraiser for President Obama next month.

Variety has gotten hold of an invitation, which reveals Legend is expected to serenade those attending a fundraising reception in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park February 11. Aside from Legend’s performance, Obama also will attend a discussion and dinner that evening.

Tickets for the private event begin at $1,000 per person and max out at a whopping $33,400 per couple, which will grant access to VIP seating, a photo reception, and a meet and greet with Obama

Proceeds will benefit the Democratic Hope Fund, a joint fundraising committee with portions going to pay Obama’s 2012 campaign debt, and to the Democratic National Committee.
