John Legend has reached a new milestone with his latest album, Love in the Future.
The Recording Industry Association of America, has officially certified the singer’s fourth studio album gold, meaning it’s sold more than 500,000 copies since being released in September 2013.
The album is the singer’s fourth consecutive studio effort to reach a gold status. His first two albums, 2004’s Get Lifted and 2006’s Once Again, both achieved platinum status for selling more than one million copies.
Love in the Future also spawned Legend smash single “All of Me,” which earlier this month became his first single to top the Billboard Hot 100.
The singer recently debuted his new offering, “You & I,” during the season finale of American Idol.
