July 4th Jams: “Billboard” Rounds Up 20 Songs About America

In honor of the Fourth of July, Billboard has put together a playlist of 20 notable songs about America, from the all genres of music.  Some of them are flag-waving songs that demonstrate pride in our country; others are critical of the land of the free and the home of the brave; others simply name-check the good ol’ U.S.A. 

Here’s some of the rappers who appear on the list — you can listen to them all over at Billboard.com:

Kanye West and Jay Z – “Made in America”
Key “America” Lyric, according to Billboard: “We made it in America / I pledge allegiance to my grandma / For that banana pudding, our piece of Americana / Our apple pie was supplied through Arm & Hammer / Straight out the kitchen / Shh, don’t wake Nana!”
