by

ABC/Matt BrownJustin Timberlake has set a chart record with his latest single, “Not a Bad Thing.”

The song has grabbed the top spot on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart. He’s had seven songs reach number one on that chart in his career, the most of any male artist. His total doesn’t include two ‘NSYNC songs that achieved the milestone: “Bye Bye Bye” and “It’s Gonna Be Me.”

Justin previously was tied with Bruno Mars among male artists. Lady Gaga also has had seven number-one songs on the Pop Songs chart. They trail Katy Perry and Rihanna, who’ve both had 11, and Pink, who’s had nine.

The latest Pop Song charts will be released in full on Thursday.
