The young dancer is finally getting the recognition she deserves for heading the Renegade dance challenge that made its way to TikTok. Jalaiah ate up her opponents, performing the viral dance in front of thousands during the NBA All-Star game on Sunday. The live performance came after K Camp posted a video of himself with Jalaiah and her 13-year-old friend, Skylar, doing the viral dance.

“Thank you Jalaiah and Skylar for helping make lottery the BIGGEST song in the world,” K Camp wrote in the caption. “Tell the blogs eat it up!”

Initially, Jalaiah posted the video on the Funimate video app, similar to TikTok, before re-posting the video on  Instagram in September 2019, receiving over 13,000 views. Teenagers and content creators brought the contagious dance to TikTok and Triller, leading to a worldwide dance challenge, featuring celebrities like LizzoAlex Rodriguez and more posting their own adaptations of the dance.

K Camp dropped “Lottery (Renegade)” in June 2019 from his Wayy 2 Critical album.
