K. Michelle confirms the title of her fifth studio album: It’s time to come out and play

by

Derek BlanksAfter a months-long tease, K. Michelle has confirmed details regarding her fifth studio album.

The vocal powerhouse posted a cinematic clip to her Instagram in which she reveals the long-awaited effort will be titled All Monsters Are Human

“We create our own monsters, then fear them for what they show us about our ourselves,” Michelle captioned the eerie video. “I could say I hate you, but I’ll just say you made a monster out of me. My 5th album “ALL MONSTERS ARE HUMAN” is complete.

She added: “It’s time to come out and play.”

All Monsters Are Human is one of two releases we can expect from Michelle. The aforementioned record is a R&B-driven effort, which could potentially feature her buzzy single, “Save Me,” as well as guest spots from Kash Doll and Faith Evans. The additional project up the singer’s sleeve is her long-overdue country album, which remains in progress.

While further details on All Monsters Are Human are scarce, the build-up for Michelle’s new music is seemingly tied to the roll-out of her stint on season six of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood. The new season premieres  August 5.
