As she continues her My Twisted Mind Tour this week, the R&B singer she tells Her playlist ranges from her “favorite artist” Anita Baker to French electronic trio Telepopmusik, but Michelle reveals that she’s a big fan of Sam Smith‘s “I’ve Told You Now.”
“Such a great song. Sam makes you really feel the words in his music. This is one of the songs I sing at the top of my lungs,” she says.
Another record that Michelle enjoys is Emeli Sandé‘s “Daddy” featuring Naughty Boy. “I love songs that tell a story. It’s like a motion picture but instead of seeing it, you are hearing it,” she says.
The singer also enjoys Majid Jordan, who recently guest featured on Drake‘s “Hold On (We’re Going Home),” as well as newcomer Vic Mensa‘s “Down on My Luck,” a song that she listens to in the morning to get her day started.
