ABC RadioKelly Rowland is getting into the cosmetic game. The singer has announced she’s launching a makeup line for all women, especially those with darker-toned complexions.
During a chat with ESSENCE, Rowland revealed her endeavor will begin with lashes and expand into a wide range of options for all skin types.
“My makeup artist Sheika Daley and I are actually starting a makeup line … we’re starting off with lashes and then we’re going to have it grow for all women,” said Rowland, who found inspiration in fashion model Iman.
“But definitely making sure we have our chocolate girls covered, Kelly adds, “Gotta get the chocolate girls in there! We have to have that, you know. I think Iman has done a beautiful makeup line and I want to do it too!”
The release date for Kelly’s upcoming line has yet to be announced.
