Just days after unleashing the Juicy J-assisted single, “Rick James,” Keyshia Cole has released another offering from her upcoming, sixth album.
The singer taps into her vulnerable side on a mid-tempo track called “Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away),” which was posted on her official SoundCloud page. The singer revealed on Twitter that she freestyled the entire song.
“The crazy part about it is I took you right back / I thought you were a changed man / I tried to work it out for the sake of my family / But you took my kindness for weakness and my love for granted,” she sings.
Fans can expect the follow-up to 2012’s Woman to Woman will be out in August.
