ABC/Randy HolmesKhalid‘s made the long-list of BBC Sound of Music 2018 nominees.
The distinguished award is annually presented to rising musical acts. Past winners include 50 Cent and “Hello” singer Adele.
Along with Khalid, this year’s list of nominees also includes 15-year-old singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, who’s the youngest nominated artist to ever grace the BBC Sound of Music list, as well as London-based MC Not3s, and rapper Yxng [Young] Bane.

The top five finalists will be unveiled January 8 to 12.
