According to the publication, the singer has now scored a new career-high for most weeks spent on top, surpassing his prior record set by “I Smile,” which logged 23 weeks atop the chart back in 2011.
Franklin now ranks sixth for the most weeks at #1 — Marvin Sapp‘s “I Never Would Have Made It” leads with 46 frames atop the chart.
“Wanna Be Happy?” is lifted from Franklin’s latest album Losing My Religion, available now.
