Ladies Rule: Here’s new music from Summer Walker, Hoodcelebrityy, Saweetie, and Rico Nasty

by

Ro LexxFriday is here, which means some of today’s hottest artists have dropped new music for fans to enjoy over the weekend. Take a look:

Summer Walker joins the late rapper Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay on the remix of “Mood Swings,” a track from the deluxe version of Pop’s posthumous debut album Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon. The R&B songstress creates a mood of her own singing about falling in love and wanting to start a family.

Dancehall artiste Hoodcelebrityy is “So Pretty” in the music video for her new single with rapper Kash Doll. The ladies trade bars about women embracing their nationality on the feel-food track, while showing appreciation for beautiful women around the world.

On another note, Pretty girl Saweetie teamed up with Tyga and YG on the new twerk anthem, Money Mouf.” Saweetie brought her icy flow rapping, “Girl, I passed on your man, you should thank me / I ‘ma cold lil’ piece, they should paint me/ If I ran from the bank, it’d chase me.”

Meanwhile, YG kept to his 4Hunnid swag on the track that samples Ying Yang Twins’ 2003 hit “Salt Shaker.”

Detroit’s Rico Nasty released a uniquely styled visual for “Own It,” the latest single off her upcoming debut album Nightmare Vacation

In the video, the 23-year-old rapper rocks a few extravagant costumes and headpieces that speak to her creative, out-of-this-world mantra.

“Shout out to everyone who pushed me in my wagon on & off set because my shoes were 10-inch heels with the longest toes ever,” Rico wrote on Instagram. “I couldn’t see or breathe in this mask, so that was .. terrifying. But you guys made me feel like a princess. I have the best team ever.”
