LaTavia Roberson Is Open to a Destiny’s Child Reunion

by

Prince Williams/WireImageEx-Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson has revealed that she’s open to reuniting with her former groupmates.

“I’d love to. The feuding which came after the split was hard, but I became a fan of the new lineup after a while and have developed a sisterhood with Michelle Williams,” LaTavia told That Grape Juice.

“I guess the hard part about a reunion would be logistics,” she adds. “Most of us our [sic] mothers now and are raising families so that has to be taken into consideration. I think the right things will happen at the right time.”

Starting in 1997, the performer sang her way to stardom as a member of the original Destiny’s Child lineup, which included BeyoncéKelly Rowland and LeToya Luckett.

It was rumored that Roberson and Luckett quit the girl group in 2000, although Roberson has claimed in the past that both were ousted from the band due to conflicts with Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s dad and the group’s manager.

LaTavia suffered a miscarriage while hospitalized this past August. She is currently in the final editing stages of her untitled autobiography, which will arrive next year.
