Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Added to National Recording Registry

Image Courtesy SonyLauryn Hill‘s album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is among the latest recordings to be added to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry.

The former Fugees singer’s 1998 solo effort is one of twenty-five recordings from all genres that are being added this year, selected by the National Recording Registry for being “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.”

Also added this year is Ben E. King’s 1961 hit, “Stand By Me.”
