by

ABC/Image Group LALizzo was full of love for the late Kobe Bryant as she performed at a pre-Super Bowl concert Thursday night in Miami.

The three-time Grammy winner headlined the Super Bowl Opening Drive Super Concert Series at The Fillmore in South Beach.

Before singing “Good As Hell,” Lizzo told the crowd, “I’m excited to be here for the Super Bowl, but we can’t be in this event without our hearts being Kobe and his daughter, Gianna,” according to Billboard.

Lizzo went on: “I didn’t know him personally, but it just hurts because we all feel connected. We don’t know if tomorrow is promised. This song is dedicated to Kobe Bryant, his family and anyone who has lost a loved one.”

Love was the theme throughout Lizzo’s performance.  “Close your eyes and say ‘I love me’ because tonight’s a big love fest in here!,” she told the packed audience.

The Hustlers star opened her set with “Worship,” and continued the love with “Cuz I Love You,” “Exactly How I Feel,” “Like A Girl,” “Water,” and “Jerome.”

Of course, Lizzo also sang her four-times platinum hit, “Truth Hurts,” and then told the crowd, “I’m proud of you and I love you very much. I want you to know that and believe it.”

For her finale, Lizzo was joined by Harry Styles as they performed ”Juice.”
