Nice Life/Atlantic RecordsLizzo has scored her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Truth Hurts.”
The single debuted at number 50 on the chart and amassed 13.6 million streams.
“Truth Hurts” was originally released in 2017. However, it experienced a revival of shorts after being featured in the Netflix rom-com series Someone Great, which premiered last month. The song can also be found on Lizzo’s new album, Cuz I Love You, which debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 earlier this month.
In addition, the singer-songwriter has made notable jumps on the charts with the her recently released “Hurts” single. The song currently sits at number 19 on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart, Lizzo’s first entry on that ranking, and is number 21 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
