by

Tibrina Hobson/WireImageComedian Loni Love and Tamar Braxton have been battling it out for years in the media, ever since Braxton’s abrupt exit from The Real in May 2016.

Love is still a host on The Real with Adrienne BailonJeannie MaiTamera Mousley and newly-added host Amanda Seales. Tamar’s absence from the show is a constant topic of discussion, although she isn’t always there to defend herself.

Now, Love says Love & Hip Hop’Mona Scott attempted to get the two women together, but things didn’t pan out.

“I got a call from Mona Scott Young to try to, you know, get together. Fortunately, the studio is saying that, they want to just stop everything,” she tells ABC Audio. “When you have all these different facets and other people involved, you know, sometimes things don’t work out the way you want it to work out.”

Last year during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show last year, Braxton told Williams, “I don’t want to be anybody’s marketing tool this season. No shade,  but I just wish everybody well and I feel like sometimes God has to move you out of situations before you become more toxic to yourself.”

As for her current relationship with Tamar, Love says she’ll continue to try and create a bridge of communication.

“I’m going to keep trying. On my own,” she explained.
