Bey’s mom, Tina Lawson made sure to commemorate the power couple’s 9th wedding anniversary Tuesday by sharing an Instagram photo of Bey and Jay’s 2008 wedding day.
The never-before-seen picture shows Bey in her wedding gown, designed by her mom, and Jay smiling in his wedding day tuxedo, turning towards their wedding guests.
“9 years already??? Congratulations to the Carters on their Anniversary (thats my arm fixing the dress lol) Thats my minister Rudy Rasmus who married Solange, Beyonce and me,” reads the caption.
And Beyoncé herself also paid tribute to her and her hubby’s wedding anniversary with a new studio version release of her 2015 song “Die With You” and accompanying music video.
A teaser clip of the visual, available to view on Bey’s Instagram page, show intimate home video vignettes of Bey, Jay and daughter Blue Ivy.
Bey and Jay welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy, in 2012. They are currently expecting twins.
