Denise TruscelloWhile playing a game of “Does! She! Know! Her!?” during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Sunday, Mariah Carey had nothing but love for fellow diva, Beyoncé.
“We’re friends. I think she’s one of the most talented women out there and I just love her,” Mimi told host Andy Cohen.
And while the superstar also admitted to having friendly interactions with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Britney Spears during the program, Mariah’s pleasant remarks stopped when Andy asked if she knew Ariana Grande, to which Carey answered with a cold “No.”
Andy added that he felt early in Ariana’s career, she was paying homage to Mariah. “Did you feel that?” he asked. “Child, I don’t know when early in the career was,” Mariah responded.
Later in the show, Andy brought up how Demi Lovato criticized Mariah on Twitter for the way she treats J. Lo. Andy asked Mariah what she would say to Demi.
“I don’t know her either, and so I wouldn’t say anything to her,” she said. “She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, ‘Here’s my opinion. What do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle s***, okay?”
