Snoop Dogg and Master P have landed on a new name for Snoop’s breakfast cereal. The brand, once called Snoop Loopz, has been changed to Snoop Cereal. The rappers announced the news on YouTube after previously revealing they had to change the original name for unspecified reasons.

“I just wanna say — salute to all the fans out there,” Master P said in a video uploaded on his No Limit Forever YouTube channel. “I know everybody have been saying Snoop Loopz, they thought it was over. The fans, the customers said they was with us to the end.”

“We’re taking this to WIC … ’cause we’re two WIC kids, grew up in the ghetto,” he continued. “And now coming from WIC to owning our own company is crazy. Y’all can do it, too.”

Come June 2023, Snoop Cereal will be available nationwide in three flavors — Fruity Hoopz, Frosted Drizzlers and Cinnamon Toasteez — all of which P and Snoop sampled in the YouTube video.

Also announced in the clip is Snoop Cereal and Broadus Foods’ new partnership with Post, known for products like Fruity Pebbles and Honey Bunches of Oats.

“Thanks to Post for looking at diversity,” P said. “We own this company. No, it’s not just us putting our name on this. We’re going to pass this down from generation to generation. We talking about generational wealth.”
