by

Burak Cingi/RedfernsMegan Thee Stallion has shared her latest EP, Suga, and releases a video for her single “B.*.*.*.H.,” amid drama from a contentious lawsuit against her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment.

The Houston hottie has been hot in the press over the last week, after calling out 1501 and CEO Carl Crawford for preventing her from releasing new music. After back-and-forth responses on social media from Crawford and J. Prince, whom Megan accused of intimidation in the suit, a Texas judge ruled in her favor, allowing Megan to drop her new music.

The nine-track Suga project features Kehlani and Gunna and production credits by Pharrell and Timbaland. Still celebrating her win, the Houston rapper dropped the video for “B.*.*.*.H.,” the introduction to her new persona. The video opens with a pep talk from her alter-ego, Tina Snow, and follows Megan as she gets into some hot girl action, twerking with her girls.

Speaking about her new persona on ESPN’s First Take, Megan said, “Sugashe’s more like, ‘I know I’m messing up. I know I mess up sometimes I’m not perfect I admit I’m not perfect, I’m not trying to be perfect but I’m trying. So I feel like don’t strive for perfection but strive to be what’s perfect for you.'”

In an interview with Angie Martinez, Megan revealed Suga was something for the fans, and not officially her debut album.

“This is what I had to put out right now so my fans can have music from me. I was literally putting together an album that was longer,” she said. “These are songs that I started to record that were gonna make the album but I’m not done recording my album.”
