“Damn I’m about to have to learn this,” Megan said on Instagram, sharing a dance routine to Beyoncé’s bossy verse about her savage ways learned from her mama, Tina Knowles-Lawson, rather than the song’s chorus, like in the original challenge.
Shayné & Zhané Stanley, also known as the Nae Nae Twins Official on TikTok, are the creators of the dance routine, which was effortlessly killed by so many on social media, including Joie Chavis, dancer and the baby mother of rappers Future and Bow Wow.
The “Savage” challenge has already proven to have no age requirements, including everyone as little as T.I. and Tiny‘s four-year-old, Heiress, to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Marlo Hampton, who used the challenge to make her TikTok debut.
“Knees strong,” Marlo captioned the video showing us she had to jump in to get into those jeans, like one of the song’s favorite lines declares.
In other news, Megan had a fun-filled weekend with her new dog, Dos, and celebrating her late mother Holly‘s birthday. Megan thanked her for all the “advice and lessons,” and said she hopedg to become a strong woman like her.
“I miss you every day! I know you’re watching over me rooting for me and keeping me going,” Megan wrote Saturday, sharing a throwback photo. Beyoncé paid tribute on her website, posting, “Honoring Holly.”
